Pacific
"With Pacific, we picked up
the narrative started with Redondo,
which tells of sinuous and welcoming
shapes. For this collection, I designed
deliberately emphasised roundness,
able to convey the same warmth as
a hug, gently enveloping in the
curved backrest.
I wanted to recover all the
essentiality of design of the 1950s,
starting with the docile profile,
without corners, and using upholstery
that has a very soft touch, thanks to
the choice of fabrics with a domestic
feeling.
Pacific is, in fact, a product born
in a period during which we came
to understand, as never before,
the centrality of living spaces.
The home has become our microcosm
and therefore the living room has
become the driving force behind
our days.
I wanted Pacific to be the ideal
companion for all these moments
of daily life, capable of adapting to
everyone's habitat thanks to essential
shapes and generous volumes."
