Pacific
La collezione Pacific crea intimità
nella seduta quasi “protettiva”, per un’idea
avvolgente di comodo relax. Con le sue
forme rotonde ed oversize, rievoca le
atmosfere distese e rilassate della West
Coast americana, da cui prende il nome.
Pacific è il proseguimento del percorso
progettuale iniziato con la collezione
iconica Redondo ideata da Patricia
Urquiola nel 2010. Ideale per una casa
elegante, come anche per un accogliente
lobby o spazio pubblico. Nel divano Pacific
le forme morbide vengono esaltate e
definite dalla totale assenza di spigoli
e dai dettagli di “couture”. Il tessuto,
morbido e lanoso, scelto per creare uno
straordinario effetto tattile, può essere
per esempio un bouclé raffinato, una lana
soffice o un velluto lussuoso.

im fast „schützenden“ Sitzmöbel für eine

Die runden Oversize-Formen erinnern an
die entspannten und lockeren Atmosphären
der amerikanischen Westküste, von der
sich der Name ableitet. Pacific ist die
Fortführung des Entwurfsprozesses, der
2010 mit der ikonischen Kollektion Redondo
aus der Feder von Patricia Urquiola
begonnen hat. Ideal für ein elegantes
Zuhause sowie für eine einladende Lobby
oder einen einladenden öffentlichen
Bereich Beim Sofa Pacific werden die
weichen Formen durch das gänzliche
Fehlen von Kanten und durch „Couture“-
Details hervorgehoben und definiert. Der
weiche, wollige Stoff wurde ausgewählt,
um einen außergewöhnlichen taktilen
Effekt zu erzielen und kann zum Beispiel ein
raffinierter Bouclé, eine weiche Wolle oder
ein luxuriöser Samt sein.

intimité dans le siège quasiment «
protecteur », pour une idée enveloppante
de relaxation dans le confort. Avec ses
formes rondes et surdimensionnées, elle
rappelle les atmosphères nonchalantes et
décontractées de la West Coast américaine,
dont son nom s’inspire. Pacific poursuit le
processus conceptuel qui avait commencé
avec la collection iconique Redondo,
conçue par Patricia Urquiola en 2010.
Idéal dans une ambiance résidentielle tout
comme dans hall lounge ou un espace
public accueillant. Dans le canapé Pacific,
la douceur des formes est mise en valeur
et définie par l’absence totale d’arêtes
et par les détails « haute-couture ». Le
tissu doux et laineux, choisi pour créer
un extraordinaire effet tactile, peut être,
par exemple, un bouclé raffiné, une laine
moelleuse ou un somptueux velours.
Pacific 系列座椅通过几乎将人“保护”起

The Pacific collection provides
an intimate seating experience that is
like being wrapped in a protective and
relaxing cocoon. With its rounded,
oversized shapes, it evokes the relaxed
atmosphere of the American West
Coast, from which it takes its name.
Pacific is the continuation of a design
process begun in 2010 with the
iconic Redondo collection by Patricia
Urquiola. It finds its ideal place as
the center piece in an elegant home,
as well as the welcoming refuge in a
public space or hotel lobby.
In the Pacific sofa, hard edges are
banned while the soft shapes are
enhanced with the use of “couture”
details. The soft, woolly upholstery
was chosen to give an extraordinarily
tactile experience, with a choice of
sophisticated boucle, plush wool
or luxurious velvet.
