Spring Collection dimostra come,
partendo dalla poltrona Soft Big Easy, un volume
in quanto semplice forma possa essere tradotto
in prodotto industriale attraverso una
reinterpretazione dei materiali e dei processi
produttivi. Il risultato è una vera e propria
antologia del lavoro di Ron Arad, oggetti-icona
unici per morfologia e dinamica della forma, nati
da un gesto artistico ma, allo stesso tempo,
portatori di un linguaggio progettuale collocabile
nello spazio intermedio tra design, scultura
e architettura.
Spring Collection demonstrates how,
starting with the Soft Big Easy armchair,
a volume as a simple form can be translated into
an industrial product through a reinterpretation
of materials and production processes. The result
is a true anthology of Ron Arad’s work, objects-
icons unique in morphology and dynamics
of form, born from an artistic gesture but, at the
same time, bearers of a design language that can
be located in the intermediate space between
design, sculpture and architecture.
