Attraverso una progressiva riduzione degli
elementi decorativi, Theo reinterpreta il pensiero
delle prime avanguardie del Novecento,
riferendosi in particolare all’opera di Theo van
Doesburg, che nel 1917 assieme a Piet Mondrian
fondò la rivista De Stijl. L’approccio costruttivo
si appropria così dei principi del neoplasticismo,
proiettando in scala una piccola architettura.
Through a progressive reduction
of decorative elements, Theo reinterprets the
thinking of the early twentieth-century avant-
garde, referring in particular to the work of Theo
van Doesburg, who in 1917 together with
Piet Mondrian founded the magazine De Stijl.
The constructive approach thus appropriates
the principles of neoplasticism, projecting
a small-scale architecture.
