In the great mansions of the past, entire walls were covered with doors,
which enclosed long shelves. The Direttorio modular bookcase is based on
this idea, which faithfully and ingeniously reproduces the ancient system
of the library or study. The strong classical inspiration is particularly
suitable for this bookcase, which in the vertical pilaster of the sides marks
a simple rhythm of geometric order. Besides the modular elements of the
collection, customized elements can be produced, to complete wall-to-wall
compositions for an extremely elegant and refined ambience.
Nelle grandi dimore del passato intere pareti erano dedicate ad ante che racchiudevano lunghe
scaffalature. Da questa idea nasce la serie modulare Direttorio, che riprende in maniera fedele
e ingegnosa l’antico sistema della sala a biblioteca o studiolo. La forte ispirazione classica ben
si adatta a questa libreria, che nella lesena verticale dei fianchi scandisce un ritmo semplice,
di ordine geometrico. Oltre agli elementi modulari presenti nella produzione, è disponibile la
realizzazione di composizioni su misura, per rivestire completamente tutte le pareti di una stanza
con risultati di estrema eleganza e raffinatezza.
