There is an affinity and a familiarity in
collaborating with Moooi which starts
by sharing a cultural identity. We both
carefully look back at our heritage as
a starting point in our design journey,
because there is no future without the

ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
Partners in business -and life- Kiki
van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk work
individually or jointly in a pacific
farmhouse in Eindhoven. They met
while studying at the Design Academy
Eindhoven and founded the studio in 2001
to become one of the most accomplished
names of Dutch design. Their workshop
spreads over 9,600 square feet, in a
space dedicated to the production of
unique pieces designed to stand out
over trends and time. Their wide range
of work extends from fine furniture to
large scale installation, from architecture
to accessories, from textile to lighting
or ceramics. Regardless of the scale,
handmade and human touch remains at
the heart of their practice and reinforces
an intuitive and emotional approach to
contemporary design.
