Delft Blue vases are produced and
decorated at 'Royal Delft', a Dutch
company dating back to 1653 and the
original producer of the beautiful Delft
Blue ceramics.
CALLIGRAPHY BIRD RUG
Calligraphy Birds were often seen posing and
dancing to attract a partner. The male would
move in a rhythmic dance, the blue hues of
his ornate collar feathers shining in the sun.
The female would fan her white tail feathers
that ended in what resembled graceful
calligraphy swirls.
