Since as far back as the 1950s, Molteni&C has
been a leader in innovative solutions for the
nighttime area, which include a wide choice
of beds as well as complete and functional
suggestions for storage. Hence 7070, a
fascinating nighttime system to provide the
area traditionally devoted to rest and relaxation
with a new series of nighttime complements,
modernly designed to meet the needs of
contemporary living. Rodolfo Dordoni has
designed a complete set, where fine materials
and finishes combine with a sober and elegant
design for new functional aesthetic solutions.
Both units, bedside table and drawers feature
a front with rounded corners, which lightens
the structure. The three drawers in the chest
of drawers and the two in the bedside tables
are lacquered in the colors of the Molteni&C
range and are fitted with fine, recessed and
easy-to-grip pewter handles. One novel feature
is the superimposed tray-cum-drawer, again
made of eucalyptus wood, complete with a
transparent ribbed glass top. As an alternative,
the bedside table and the chest of drawers
can be enriched with a slim eucalyptus top.
Fin dagli anni ‘50, Molteni&C è leader nelle
soluzioni innovative per la zona notte, che
comprendono un’ampia offerta di letti e
proposte per il contenimento, complete e
funzionali. Così 7070, un sistema notte di grande
fascino per declinare la zona tradizionalmente
dedicata al riposo e al relax attraverso una nuova
serie di complementi notte, modernamente
progettati per rispondere alle esigenze del vivere
contemporaneo. Rodolfo Dordoni disegna un
sistema completo, dove pregiati materiali e
finiture si coniugano con un design sobrio ed
elegante per nuove soluzioni estetico-funzionali.
Entrambi gli elementi, comodini e cassettone
presentano un frontale con angoli arrotondati,
che dona leggerezza alla struttura. I tre cassetti
nel cassettone e i due nei comodini sono
laccati nei colori della gamma cromatica di
Molteni&C e sono dotati di preziose maniglie in
peltro, incassate e di facile presa. Un elemento
di novità è il cassetto-vassoio sovrapposto,
sempre in essenza eucalipto, dotato di un top
in vetro millerighe trasparente. In alternativa,
comodino e comò possono essere arricchiti
da un sottile top in eucalipto.
