Scaturito dall’incontro tra creatività e sapienza artigianale, il tavolo Ala conquista la zona
giorno diventandone l’attore principale attorno al quale inscenare la comédie humaine del vivere
quotidiano. Il piano tondo o semiovale, definito da un bordo che ne assottiglia la percezione
dello spessore, appare sospeso nello spazio e pronto a spiccare il volo grazie alle gambe
affusolate, dalle fattezze di un’ala di aeroplano che ne hanno ispirato il nome.
A combination of creativity and expert craftsmanship, the Ala table is the dominant presence
in the living room – the setting for the day-to-day goings-on of domestic life.
The round or semi-oval table top, outlined by a border that takes the edge off the thickness,
appears suspended in mid-air, almost ready to take flight. The tapered legs
only high lighten this effect, based on the design of the wings of an aeroplane.
