Essenza pregiata proveniente da diverse zone dell’Africa centrale equatoriale, particolarmente indicata per gli utilizzi
outdoor per la sua buona resistenza alle escursioni termiche, all’umidità e agli agenti atmosferici.
Il suo segno distintivo è la naturalezza, evidenziata da variazioni di colore, sfumature e tipiche venature del legno.
Queste non sono da considerarsi difetti, bensì caratteristiche distintive che determinano l’unicità e la naturale bellezza
del materiale.
L’esposizione agli agenti atmosferici può creare nel tempo una patina grigio-argentea sulla superficie del legno, frutto di
un naturale processo di maturazione del materiale.
Il trattamento di verniciatura conferisce al supporto caratteristiche di idrorepellenza e protezione al viraggio del colore e
alle muffe. Esso è idoneo solo per prodotti non esposti direttamente alle intemperie.
A precious wood that grows in several central equatorial African areas, it is mainly indicated for outdoor furniture, with
its strong resistance to temperature changes, humidity and weather.
Its distinctive feature is the naturalness, highlighted by colour variations, shades and original veinings. These are not to
be considered faults, rather distinctive features that determine the uniqueness and natural beauty of the material.
The exposure to atmospheric agents can gradually create a silver-grey patina on the wood surface, the result of a
natural maturation process of the material.
The protective varnish that is applied adds a waterproof coating that also protects against color changes and mould.
This particular coating protects the furniture against indirect exposure to adverse weather conditions.
