Si può addomesticare una stella? La materici-
tà del legno si accende attraverso un caleidoscopio di
essenze disposte a raggiera: gli effetti ottici disegnati
dagli intarsi lapidei presenti nelle chiese e nei palazzi di
Venezia.
Un arredo ibrido che vuole adempiere alla funzione di
mobile contenitore e al tempo stesso fungere da ele-
mento scultoreo, oggetto custode di sogni e desideri.
Funzionale e decorativo allo stesso tempo, Astro – pro-
gettato dallo studio di design veneto DEBONADEMEO
- testimonia l’altissima abilità manifatturiera ed ebani-
stica di MEDULUM, applicata in questo caso alla realiz-
zazione di uno scrigno per l’arredo contemporaneo.

Can you tame a star? The textural nature of
wood lights up through a kaleidoscope of different
species arranged in a sunburst: the optical effects rep-
resented by the stone inlay work present in the church-
es and palazzi of Venice.
A hybrid piece of furniture which aims to both fill the
role of container, while also functioning as a sculptural
element, the custodian of dreams and desires. Func-
tional and decorative at the same time, Astro – de-
signed by Venetian design studio DEBONADEMEO –
bears testament to the very high manufacturing and
cabinetry skill of MEDULUM, applied in this case to the
creation of a trunk for contemporary furnishing.
