Medea è conosciuta come una delle più storiche e famose aziende Italiane
per ricerca e qualità del mobile “Brianzolo”.
Fondata nel 1905, iniziò a produrre sedie e poltroncine per i più importanti
negozi di Milano, collaborando con architetti come C. Zen e E. Basile, i
fondatori del Liberty Italiano.
Medea ha riprodotto i pezzi storici più interessanti di anonimi e importanti
nomi del tardo XIX° secolo, ottenendo anche una segnalazione per il
premio Compasso d’ Oro.
Cominciando dallo stile inglese, ha poi focalizzato l’attenzione sull’ Art
Nouveau, stile che agli albori del XX° secolo si sviluppa in vari paesi
europei privilegiando il decorativismo e valorizzando una manualità
eclettica in un artigianato di qualità, elementi che ancora oggi vengono
mantenuti.

area called “Brianza” in Lombardy region in northern Italy.
Founded in 1905, it started producing chairs and armchairs for the best
shops in Milan and co-operating with architects like C. Zen and E. Basile,
the founders of Italian Liberty.
Afterwards, Medea reproduced the most interesting historic pieces by
anonymous and famous names from late 19th century, obtaining also a
