A sorprenderla più d’ogni altra cosa, erano le
associazioni emotive legate ai contrasti.
Fu questo che pensò, ammirando la ieratica
maestosità del tavolo in noce, e la leggerezza pur
imponente della boiserie nero antico, da dove
la luce si sprigionava con bagliori improvvisi,
rivelando inedite prospettive.
L’impressione fu rafforzata dalla vista della grande
cucina, il cui profilo sinuoso evocava una sequenza
di ricordi misteriosa e delicata.
L’austera superficie in marmo si fondeva con il
calore del legno bianco, mosso dall’ininterrotta
sequenza di intagli.

associations linked to contrasts.
This is what she was thinking while admiring the
solemn majesty of the walnut table, and the light
though imposing “nero antico” boiserie emitting
unexpected flashes of light, thus revealing
unknown perspectives.
The sensation was strengthened by the view of
the big kitchen, whose curvy silhouette evoked
a mysterious and delicate sequence of memories.
The austere marble top blended with the warmth
of the white wood, moved by the continuous
sequence of carvings.
