Arrivò finalmente quel risveglio.
Appoggiato alla consolle in noce, finemente
intagliata, osservai la doppia vasca in roseo marmo
ed il mio riflesso allo specchio. Sul mio volto, un
sorriso vivido e riservato rimise per un istante
i lineamenti al posto giusto e li armonizzò in un
disegno studiato, come sul punto di aprire una
danza. Fu allora che compresi che sarebbe tornata.
Il telefono squillò.
