Nella capitale spagnola, a pochi passi dal verde
parco del Retiro, sorge lo studio di architettura Juncos
Arquitectos Estudio. Nato dal recupero di un edificio di
origine industriale dei primi del Novecento, lo studio
unisce elementi originali della preesistente struttura
- come solidi muri in mattoni a vista e grandi vetrate - a
un design minimal dalle linee pulite.
L’obiettivo del progetto di interior era creare uno
spazio che fosse confortevole e adatto al lavoro, ma
allo stesso tempo stimolante per la progettazione.
Un grande portone di ingresso, alto 4 metri, rivela un
ampio spazio di lavoro dove i tavoli monocromatici Lim
3.0 accolgono 8 postazioni di lavoro. I vani passacavi
rendono il piano di lavoro ordinato e libero da ogni
impedimento. Protagonista della sala riunioni è invece
il tavolo Tense Material nella sua finitura più calda in
legno rovere, che favorisce gli incontri e il lavoro collet-
tivo. Alle spalle del tavolo una libreria Minima 3.0 in
alluminio bianco dal profilo essenziale raccoglie libri e
volumi di architettura.
Per la piccola saletta ristoro, invece, è stato
scelto un Rock Table, che, con il suo basamento in ce-
mento ben si inserisce nel contesto architettonico
dell’edificio. Ogni tavolo è accompagnato dalle sedute
della famiglia Flow: Flow Chair imbottite e con basa-
mento su ruote per le postazioni di lavoro, le poltronci-
ne Flow Slim per la sala riunioni e per la sala ristoro.

Juncos Arquitectos Estudio is based in the Span-
ish capital, not far from the green Retiro park. Originat-
ing from the recovery of an early XX century industrial
building, the studio combines original elements of the
existing structure, such as solid brick walls and large
windows, with a minimal design, featuring clean lines.
The interior design project’s goal was to create
a space that was comfortable and fit for working, but at
the same time cosy and stimulating for planning.
A 4 meter high front door reveals a wide working space,
where monochromatic Lim 3.0 tables accommodate
eight workstations. Cable compartments make the
worktop tidy and free from any impediment.
Tense Material table is the protagonist of the meeting
room: it comes in its warmest oak wood finish and it
accommodates 8 to 10 people, thus facilitating meet-
ings and collective work. Behind the table, there’s an
essential Minima 3.0 bookcase in white aluminium, that
hosts architectural books.
In the lunch area, a Rock table stands out: with its
concrete base, it fits so well in the building’s architec-
ture. Every table is matched with chairs of the Flow
family: Flow Chair padded with base on wheels for the
workstations and Flow Slim armchairs for the meeting
room and the lunch area.
