MARX RICHARD NEUTRA
Una lampada progettata dall’architetto
Richard Neutra per la casa del dottor Marx,
da cui prende il nome, in California nel
1928.
Viene da noi prodotta ed è in catalogo già
da diversi anni, da quando Dion, anche lui
architetto, figlio di Richard, venne a trovarci
a Lucca.
Ci parlò del padre, delle sue architetture nel
Texas, con quei bellissimi specchi d’acqua
che riflettendole ne amplificano i volumi.
Dion approvò sia il prototipo della lampada
che avevamo preparato in base a degli
schizzi di suo padre, sia la lampada da terra
VDL, disegnata nel 1931.
A lamp designed by architect Richard
Neutra for the home of Dr Marx, after whom
it was named, in California in 1928.
It is produced by us and has been in our
catalogue for several years, ever since Dion,
also an architect and Richard’s son, came
to visit us in Lucca.
He told us about his father, about his
architecture in Texas, with those beautiful
mirrors of water reflecting their volumes.
Dion approved both the prototype of the
lamp we had prepared based on sketches
of his father, and the VDL floor lamp,
designed in 1931.
