PLISSÉ EMILIANA MARTINELLI
Il Metacrilato con le sue proprietà di
diffondere la luce, ha ispirato la mia
fantasia e mi ha portato a disegnare
questa particolare lampada. Il
Metacrilato riesce infatti a trasmettere
la luce di una corona invisibile di
LED nel suo spessore trasparente
fino al taglio perimetrale e ai punti di
incisione, come le mille righe in questo
caso, che rimandano l’immaginazione
ad una gonnellina “plissé". La forma
orientaleggiante, la leggerezza, le linee
sfuggenti esaltano questo effetto, per
ballare nell’aria e per tuffarsi in un
sogno.
Methacrylate, with its light-diffusing
properties, inspired my imagination and
led me to design this particular lamp.
In fact, methacrylate is able to transmit
the light of an invisible crown of LEDs
in its transparent thickness right down
to the perimeter cut and the engraving
points, such as the thousand lines in
this case, which send the imagination
back to a "pleated" skirt. The oriental
shape, the lightness, the fleeting lines
enhance this effect, to dance in the air
and to dive into a dream.
