Una sospensione che da tempo pensavo di
fare. Una grande lampada per il mio tavolo
rotondo da pranzo. Poi, come succede
spesso, faccio le prove di luce con gli amici
a cena, cucino e... ritornano volentieri.
Ho voluto nascondere la sorgente di
luce con il diffusore, così che la lampada
potesse essere sospesa non solo bassa
sopra il piano ma anche più in alto, o al
centro di una stanza per una luce ancora
più diffusa. Il foro superiore, affinché la luce
passando, oltre a rischiarare il soffitto, la
rendesse ancora più leggera. Il giallo solare,
un colore vivace per illuminare la stanza,
ma in catalogo anche in bianco e nero.
A suspension lamp that I have been thinking
about making for a long time. A large lamp
designed to be placed on top of my round
dining table and to replace a suspension
lamp no longer in the catalogue. Then, as
often happens, I test the lamp when i invite
friends for dinner, I cook and... they happily
return.
I wanted to hide the light source with
the diffuser, so that the lamp could be
suspended not only low down over the
top but also higher up, or in the middle of
a room for even more diffused light. The
hole at the top, so that the light passing
through, as well as hitting the ceiling,
would make it even lighter. Sunny yellow, a
lively colour to light up the room, but also
available in white and black.
