Lady Galala è nata durante una riunione sotto una tenda nel
deserto montagnoso di Sokhna, progettando i ristoranti sul
mare e le residenze de “Il Monte Galala”, la città turistica e
residenziale che abbiamo progettato e costruito. È immaginata
appena mossa dal vento, in un sogno di colori e di allegria,
montata e appesa più o meno casualmente, per una serata
di shisha, tè, caffè turco, o per un Iftar dopo il tramonto di un
giorno di Ramandan. Si può montare in varie combinazioni
con semplicità. Come un gioco per bambini. E nei vari
montaggi assume il volto orientale, quello mediorientale, quello
africano, quello mediterraneo, e infine quello di casa nostra.
Una madeleine di luce e di leggerezza.
Lady Galala was born during a meeting under a tent in the
mountainous desert of Sokhna, while we were planning
the seaside restaurants and residences of “Mount Galala”,
the tourist and residential city we designed and built. It is
imagined just moved by the wind, in a dream of colours
and joy, mounted and hung more or less randomly, for an
evening of shisha, tea, Turkish coffee, or for an Iftar after
sunset on a Ramadan day. It can be easily assembled in
various combinations. Like a children’s toy. And in the various
assemblies it assumes the face of the East, the Middle East,
Africa, the Mediterranean and finally our own.
A madeleine of light and lightness.
