CÁSSIO
MARKOWSKI
Cássio Markowski’s illustrations are not limited to a particular medium;
working with traditional and digital painting techniques, he composes
conceptual images that explore the poetry of visual language,
creating a poetic where the oneiric relations between human-being
and fauna or flora prevail.
Born in Brazil, he graduated visual arts at the Arts Center of the State
University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). He also holds a master degree
(MPhil) in investigation and creation of art from University of País
Vasco (Spain). After living and working in his illustrations in Warsow
(Poland) for three years, he is now settled in Lisbon (Portugal).
