Cornices, friezes, carving, tiles, gold and silver leaf, wrought iron, ceramics and other time-honored elements and styles will be some of its characteristic components. To create these pieces, we need more than skill from our artisans and designers: a monumental amount of passion for art and attention to detail are necessary to complete a worthy tribute piece.
The signature imprint of Malabar’s baroque is felt in the heavily intricate and meticulous carving of the Pilar modern dining table. Inspired by the flower ornaments from the beautifully adorned baroque churches, palaces, manors or monuments, the appealing Pilar contemporary dining table brings emotion, dynamism, and history to luxury dining rooms. This bond between contemporary and olden history in this dining table is made to stand the test of time with its wireframe structure in gold plated brass, supporting the vintage finished wood top in silver leaf with patina and an ornamented edge, hand-sculpted from wood in high gloss varnish.
