The Tilane Library was born in 2009
from the urban recovery of a dis-
used industrial area by architect
Gae Aulenti who wanted to maintain
the layout and characteristics of the
structure.
Before being a library, it is a place
to be, a succession of large, bright
spaces in which more than 45,000
books are arranged. There is also
a large space dedicated to children
where there are many products from
the Magis and Magis Me Too collec-
tions, including Sam Son armchairs,
Linus table, Trioli chairs, The Roof
Chairs and Fish suspended sculp-
tures which blend in perfectly to
create a playful and welcoming at-
mosphere.
