Kaufman’s research on the friction mechanism gave birth to a wide range of light fittings with sideways adjustable arms in flexible steel rods. The Matrix series offer floor, wall, ceiling, and suspension lights, with one, four, eight and sixteen arms, with a lamp-holder E27 for incandescent or halogen sources, or energy saver. From one to sixteen bulbs each up to 60W, dimmable. Wall fixtures are also available with an individual switch.
