A SYMBOL OF
OUR HERITAGE
To honour our tradition of collaborating, Louis Poulsen held a competition
in 1942, where designers were invited to create a logomark for the brand.
The winning design by Johan Pedersen, elegantly merged both the initials
of the company and the silhouette of the iconic three-shade lamp by
Poul Henningsen. This symbol has been reintroduced into the brands
visual identity in 2023, as a tribute to Louis Poulsen’s heritage and the
original master of light, Poul Henningsen.
