L’arte dell’intarsio, realizzato totalmente a mano da un laborioso ebanista esperto nel disegno,
il quale esegue tagli con l’ausilio di seghett ini fi nissimi, seguendo tutt e le sinuosità, le svolte
e le morbidezze del disegno ad ott enere vari pezzi, dett i “cavature”, talora anche minutissimi,
che, a traforo fi nito, costituiscono le “tessure” per la ricostruzione del disegno originale.
The art of inlay, completely hand-made by a hard-working carpenter who is also an expert
in design, consists in cutt ing the wood with very fi ne saws following the curves, turns and
softness of the design to obtain various pieces, which are sometimes really small. When they
are fi nished, they make up the lines to recall the original design.
Искусство интарсии реализуется полностью вручную внимательным и опытным ма-
стером-краснодеревщиком, который выполняет резку тончайшими инструментами,
повторяя все изгибы, закругления и плавные переходы узора для получения различ-
ных элементов, называемых «канавками», в некоторых случаях совсем миниатюрных,
которые после выпиливания становятся «пластинками» для воспроизведения ориги-
нального рисунка.
