Oblò is a suspension lamp with a strong decorative character,
offering fresh insights into the use of Pyrex in lighting while
expanding Lodes’ aesthetic vocabulary with the delicate sensitivity
of Paola Navone – OTO Studio. The product’s soft silhouette
and the five chosen shades for the finishes evoke marine imagery
and reflections of light on water. The knotted canvas cable on the
hook supporting the diffuser creates the illusion that the lamp floats
in the air like a buoy. The LED light source and the electrical cable
that powers it are concealed, making only the glass visible, just like
looking through a porthole. Available in three gentle forms, Oblò
offers lighting solutions capable of creating different movements and
rhythms, alone or in compositions, to illuminate and decorate a
wide range of spaces.
Oblò è una lampada a sospensione dal carattere fortemente deco-
rativo che offre nuovi spunti sull’utilizzo del Pyrex nell’illuminazione
e amplia il vocabolario estetico di Lodes con la delicata sensibilità
di Paola Navone – OTO Studio. La silhouette morbida del prodotto
e le cinque sfumature scelte per le finiture evocano l’immaginario
marino e i riflessi di luce sull’acqua, mentre il cavo telato annodato
al gancio che sostiene il diffusore crea l’illusione che la lampada
galleggi nell’aria come una boa. La sorgente luminosa LED è nascosta,
così come il cavo elettrico che la alimenta: in questo modo si vede
solo il vetro, proprio come guardando attraverso un oblò. Disponibile
in tre forme dalle linee gentili, Oblò offre soluzioni di luce in grado
di creare movimenti e ritmi diversi, da sola o in composizione, per
illuminare e decorare una vasta gamma di ambienti.
