Customised Lighting Solutions
In Lodes, we continue exploring the intimate connection between our
products and the people who choose them, as well as the interaction
between the lamps and the environments furnished with our lights.
When design requirements call for elevating the standard idea of
made–to–measure, our concept, called Out of Scale, comes into play.
The possibilities are endless, with fully personalised configurations
of unprecedented shapes and sizes. Lodes can meet the needs of any
design space and decor with impactful lighting arrangements.
Light compositions become even more tailored solutions to address
any challenge, providing a unique and personal lighting design.
In Lodes continuiamo ad esplorare l’intimo legame tra i nostri prodotti e le persone che li
scelgono, l’interazione tra le lampade e gli ambienti arredati con le nostre luci. Quando le esigenze
progettuali richiedono di elevare l’idea standard del “su misura”, il nostro concetto, chiamato
fuori scala, entra in gioco. L’Out of Scale è una soluzione totalmente su misura in cui le possibilità
sono infinite e le soluzioni sono interamente personalizzate sviluppando configurazioni di forma

“With this requirement, we had to create something
that had never been done before. A structure capable
of supporting the composition, housing as many as
864 drivers inside it plus 4 drivers placed on the central
element at the top, all while allowing natural light to
filter through from the ceiling.”
Massimiliano Tosetto, racconta:
“Con questo requisito, abbiamo dovuto creare qualcosa
che non era mai stato fatto prima. Una struttura capace
di sostenere la composizione, alloggiando al suo interno
ben 864 driver più 4 driver posti sull’elemento centrale
in alto, che doveva al tempo stesso permettere alla luce
naturale di filtrare dal soffitto.”
In the design phase, we focused on finding a structure
that balanced structural rigidity, low weight, and
transparency. We determined that a conical structure
would be ideal to achieve the effect the customer
wanted. The ring structure was engineered in segmented
sections to facilitate transport and installation.
Our service encompassed comprehensive support,
from design assistance to the development of a
customised structure, plus, of course, the supply
of the lamps. Additionally, we provided on-site
installation assistance for this project.
A livello di progettazione, si è prima cercato di capire
quale tipo di struttura potesse dare il giusto compro-
messo tra rigidità strutturale, peso ridotto e trasparenza;
per arrivare poi a determinare che una struttura conica
era l’ideale per ottenere l’effetto desiderato dal cliente.
La struttura ad anelli è stata progettata con segmenti
divisi in sezioni per facilitare il trasporto e l’installazione.
Il servizio che abbiamo offerto è stato completo,
dal supporto progettuale allo sviluppo di una struttura
custom, oltre a, naturalmente, le lampade. E per
questo progetto abbiamo anche fornito l’assistenza in
loco per l’installazione.
