NEW CONCEPT
The Guest keeps expanding through
a collaboration brimming with energy,
irony, and a distinctly personal touch.
Artist, muralist, and illustrator Juan
Díaz-Faes joins the creative universe
of this iconic character with two
versions decorated using his signature
visual language, playful, friendly, and
immediately recognizable.
Known for his black and white patterns,
Díaz-Faes
transforms
The
Guest’s
silhouette into a three-dimensional
support for his unmistakable imagery.
Through geometric shapes, flowing lines
and looping faces, the artist from Oviedo
creates a hypnotic engaging visual
eff ect. Each line seems to move across
the surface, as if the character were
wrapped in a dynamic and vibrant skin.
Available in two versions, the limited
edition of 300 units features a complex
network, all hand-drawn and hand-
painted, that fully covers the character’s
silhouette. The small version distills the
essence of the artist into a more refined
approach, where a glazed black back-
ground highlights the white patterns.
Two ways to express the same graphic
universe, diff erent in scale but united by
the unmistakable hand of Díaz-Faes.
This collaboration is part of The Guest
project, which invites artists from
around the world to reinterpret a single
porcelain creation. The result is a series
of editions full of personality, blending
each artist’s unique vision with the
handcrafted expertise of our brand.

Born in Oviedo, northern Spain, Juan Díaz-Faes grew
up drawing on paper and walls before going on to
study Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca. He
later pursued a doctorate, focusing on the creative
process and exploring how ideas take shape and
where they come from.
In 2011, he moved to Madrid, where he built a prolific
creative career. His versatility has led him to explore
a wide range of disciplines—from illustration and
poster design to comics, mural painting, fine art, and
digital media.
With a curious, honest, and lighthearted approach to
art-making, and a visual style that’s both approachable
and engaging, Díaz-Faes brings to life cheerful charac-
ters and compositions through geometric forms, bold
lines, and vibrant patterns. At the same time, his work
invites close observation. Each piece carries layers of
meaning and variation within every detail. Each stroke
inhabits the surface—whether canvas, paper, aged
fabric, cement, ceramics, wood, or digital media—
unlocking new ways of perceiving. This dimension of
his work reawakens our capacity to feel and perceive
in a world that often numbs our senses.
