Esta es una de las piezas más complejas que ha abordado el equipo
de artistas del Taller de Alta Porcelana Lladró: en total, diez
damas japonesas conviven en este pequeño escenario de porcelana,
todas ataviadas con el tradicional kimono japonés.
Tanto su vestimenta como el pino japonés y el resto de elementos
que acompañan a la pieza son un homenaje de la marca a la
cultura y al paisaje japoneses. Cabe destacar también el puente,
cuya textura imitando la madera denota el grado de realismo que
alcanzan las creaciones del taller.
Completan la escena cervatillos y garzas, animales de clara
significación positiva en la tradición oriental: los cervatillos aluden
a la renovación, son mensajeros de los dioses, y deben su prestigio a
sus cualidades naturales (belleza, gracia y agilidad); por su parte,
las garzas son el símbolo de la mañana y de la regeneracion vital.
Un ídilico mundo de evocación oriental marcado por un fuerte
carácter simbólico.
Para la elaboración de esta serie limitada de 750 piezas son
necesarios más de 200 moldes. Además, la composición incluye 24
tipos de flores y en su pintado se utilizan 240 tonalidades diferentes.
This is one of the most complex pieces elaborated by the
team of artists at the Lladró High Porcelain Workshop: a
charming porcelain scene with ten Japanese ladies dressed in
traditional kimonos.
In this piece Lladró pays tribute to Japanese culture and
landscape in the ladies’ attire, the Japanese pine tree and the
other elements in the composition. Particularly noteworthy
is the bridge, whose faux-wood texture demonstrates the
heightened realism the creations of this workshop are capable
of achieving.
The scene is rounded off by fawns and herons, animals with
a clearly positive significance in oriental cultures: the fawns
stand for renewal, they are messengers of the gods and owe
their prestige to their natural qualities of beauty, grace and
agility; in turn the herons are symbols of the future and the
regeneration of life. An idyllic oriental world defined by its
strong symbolism.
More than 200 molds were required to create this limited
edition of 750 pieces. Besides, the composition includes 24
types of flowers while 240 different tones were used to paint it.
