The dragon is one of the most powerful
symbols
in
Eastern
imagination.
Associated with wisdom, good fortune,
and protection, it adopts a new iden-
tity in this creation through a renewed
aesthetic that blends tradition, design,
and craftsmanship.
Inspired by the Japanese art of paper
folding, this dragon is composed of
faceted volumes that transform the
classic lines of origami into a sculpture
with strong visual energy. Its angular
forms, dynamic posture, and the
tension in its silhouette evoke power
and movement.
The golden finish enhances the sculp-
tural energy of the piece. To achieve this
effect, we use natural mineral pigments
coated with a fine layer of metallic oxide,
intensifying the surface reflections while
maintaining the purity of the color. The
result is a striking creation with deep
symbolic and decorative value.
Dragon is part of a limited series of 888
units, entirely handcrafted using tradi-
tional
porcelain-making
techniques
with a contemporary approach. Every
step in the process honors the artisanal
essence that sets our creations apart.
This piece belongs to the Origami collec-
tion, a series of sculptures that reinter-
pret the animal world through geometric
abstraction, with an aesthetic rooted in
contemporary design.
