This limited edition made in matte white porcelain, with touches
of pastel blue and golden luster, stands out for the impeccable
ornamentation. From the helmet to the footwear, the etching
work, carried out entirely by hand on the porcelain, gives it an
extraordinary wealth of detail. The composition is completed
with the innocence look on the boy’s face.
Warrior Boy is inspired by one of the best-loved traditions in
Japanese culture. Boy’s Day is celebrated on the fifth day of
the fifth month. For the occasion dolls dressed in samurai
armor are displayed at home to wish for a long and healthy
life for young boys, and to symbolize the virtues of courage
and determination.
