Marco Carini was born in 1968, he graduated
as an interior designer at the IPIALL Interior Design
and Architecture Institute in Cremona and started his
profession in the 1990s. A Mies van der Rohe’s motto
that he soon followed "I don’t want to be interesting,
I want to be good.î Its architecture is a way
to transform the sometimes prosaic flow of life into
poetic.
In his work we read the daily desire to find the
right recipe, mixing the best materials and the most
suitable ingredients. Each intervention is tailored
and created to satisfy a specific need, listening to
customers, metabolizing their needs and reworking
spaces in a harmonious way. The interventions
of architecture and interior design involve homes,
commercial spaces and offices.
Marco Carini also projects design elements: over
the years he has been project manager of the Porro
showroom. He has collaborated with the company
Davide Groppi, as a lighting project consultant, and
with Bestetti Associati for architectural projects. During
2014, he held seminars "Light" and "Illuminations"
on the relationship between architecture and light, at
the roll of the architects of Lodi and Cremona. In 2016
he designed the butterfly lamp, production by Salvatori
Stone, Home Collection, presented at the FuoriSalone
in Milan in the same year.
Since 2017 he has been collaborating as a
designer with Granorte, a Portuguese company that
produces cork coverings and furnishings. In April of
this year, his first collection of cork fabric coverings
on a toasted cork background was presented during
the FuoriSalone. In 2018 he designed the collection
of carpets in natural fibers and colours "Oltre"
produced by Nodus.
The tradition of Giorgetti goes back to more than
100 years ago when it started its activity in Brianza
and it still forges ahead with innovation, conserving
the patrimony of its experience in cabinet making.
The uniqueness of Giorgetti lies in its capacity to make
quality and innovation parts of its life. A Giorgetti
ambient never appears as an aseptic space, devoid
of personality, on the contrary it transpires elegance,
sobriety and decisiveness. Its furnishing style can be
immediately identified and defined as ’the Giorgetti
style’, unique and original, characterised at the source
by its atypical uniqueness. These values materialise into
products that dismiss the ordinary to create exclusive
and versatile solutions, in the respect of a refined and
unmistakable character that seduces by the beauty
of its contrasts.. Thanks to the passion for detail, high
intrinsic quality in terms of technology and materials,
but also the quality of the design that makes every
element unique of its kind, pieces free from formal
conventions can be created that exist happily side
by side anywhere, cancelling cultural and temporal
distances.
The products manufactured by Giorgetti are
a prime example of Made and Manufactured in Italy.
Starting from design, creativity and style, up to the
actual production, the entire production process
is entirely made in Italy by highly qualified personnel
having great skills in the furniture sector. Giorgetti
products are functional and made of long-lasting
quality materials and are made with eco-friendly
efficient technologies.
The Made in Italy artisan production surpasses
the logic of the standard product and guarantees
a high level of product customization.

Alexander Brenner studied from 1981 to 1987
at Stuttgart University and graduated with distinction
in the fields of architecture and urban planning.
In 1990, Brenner founded his own studio and
began teaching at several Universities. The atelier
focuses on Villas and residential houses, art galleries
and private art collections. His projects have long
received highest international recognition and have
been published worldwide.
The common ground for all projects is an
integrated planning, which combines as well the
building as the interior design and the elaboration
of all furnishings and fittings in one design language.
This way all spatial issues are considered in such a way
that a holistic structure can emerge that is thoroughly
designed down to the smallest detail.
Brenner has received many awards for his work
and even the Goethe Institute Germany honored
Alexander Brenner in 2016 as one of Germany’s top 10
architects. Particularly in connection with exhibitions
of his work monographs were published in 2011,
2013 and 2015.
As an almost logical consequence of his projects
with countless individual pieces developed, today he
realizes more and more design products for various
companies.
