Light management
The aluminium extruded profile contains
a driver (ON/OFF or DALI) and two topLED
circuits, consisting of high efficiency LEDs for
a longitudinal emission. This lamp offers high
performance thanks to the power in question
and top lighting performance, due to the optimal
distribution of the flow which allows a 400
lux mean lighting on the entire work surface
(considering a desk lit covering its entire work
surface and positioned 80 cm from the floor).
UGR<19
By controlling luminance, the luminaire
guarantees a UGR index of less than 19, which is
the threshold value for correct lighting in offices
and environments with video terminals (UNI-EN
12464-1 standard).
Design and modularity
The super slim PMMA panel makes the product
minimal and non-invasive. This characteristic is
above all observable with modular installations:
combining master and slave modules together allows
to create true light lines capable of lighting several
work surfaces at the same time.
Minimum thickness even with DALI power supply
Mini Albatros are also available with DALI power
supply on board, in any case maintaining a minimum
thickness designed to guarantee the best design/
light distribution ratio. The Mini Albatros DALI models
are just 36 mm thick.
OptiLight Technology™
The transparent PMMA surface has a special pattern
consisting of laser micro-engravings which divert the
photons emitted by the lateral source, conveying the
emission downwards and upwards. The lined engraving
of the edge avoids glare and improves the performance of
the lamp. A Linea Light Group’s patented technology, that
keeps the product fully transparent when not lit; it emits a
soft glare-free light when lit, for full visual comfort.
Direct and indirect emission
The double emission solution is conceived to guarantee
the correct light distribution in both directions: 55% of the
emission is conveyed uniformly in the underlying plane,
while the remaining 45% of indirect light allows to obtain
good environmental lighting.
