WHEN THE ENTIRE
SUPPLY CHAIN IS
SUSTAINABLE
For cleaning production
environments, Linea Light Group
tries to avoid the use of soapy
water as much as possible.
Thanks to the special MEWA
MULTITEX® oil-trapping mats
used in a preventive manner,
we drastically reduce the use
of common detergents, thus
reducing the discharge of water
contaminated by additives.
Packages are adapted to the
products, thanks to special
packaging machinery. This
generates less impact on paper
consumption and less CO2 thanks to
optimized transport.
We pay great attention to
recycling in the production and
processing of raw materials, and
to waste monitoring to identify the
correct type of recycling. These
measures, combined with the new
state-of-the-art storage system,
allowed the new plant in Vazzola
(TV) to obtain the ISO 14001
certification.
The innovative modular storage
system on high-density containers
and shelves reduces the warehouse
area by 40% compared to traditional
systems and guarantees reduced
maintenance. Picking is done by
10 latest-generation plug & play
robots with batteries that can be
recharged (even at the same time)
and replaced without interrupting the
warehouse workflow.
The short supply chain
guarantees optimized transport,
less pollution, and a production
that is as concentrated as
possible in the vicinity of the
company. More than 100 of
our suppliers operate within a
limited radius of 40km, with a
consequent beneficial impact on
the local economy.
