Connection to mobile devices is done via the Twil Gateway, which converts Wireless signals into MiWi
signals. In this way, Twil technology can be used on all IT networks. If the existing IT network cannot be used,
the Gateway Hotspot function can be used to generate an autonomous and independent Wireless network.
WARNING: a Twil Gateway can control up to 80 devices with Twil technology. As general indications we can
provide the following maximum distances between Twil Gateway and Twil device: Maximum radius of 50m
around the Twil Gateway
Simultaneous dual band (2.4 + 5 GHz), able to offer a stronger connection with a wider frequency range.
The latest-generation Access Points (802.11ac standard) ensure superior wireless performance and high
coverage on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. TP-link extender can be used to extend the range of the Wireless
signal generated by the TP-Link EX530v router, for installations in areas with very large spaces, where
adequate coverage of the Wireless signal is required.
The sensor is equipped with a powerful and reliable microwave distance sensor based on the FMCV
(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) system, which can detect the distance (on the vertical and
horizontal axis) of one or more items of various sizes up to a maximum of 20 metres. By monitoring
the variations in the detected measurements, it is possible to determine the movement of obstacles in
the work area or accurately measure levels of solids, liquids and granular materials. Not only can it be
interfaced with Twil devices, but it is also possible to connect it to generic loads via a normally closed or
normally open contact. The contact can also be connected to a DALI interface.
Industrial push-button panel thanks to which Twil lamps and sensors can be physically controlled; it
consists of 4 push-buttons that can call up to 8 different lighting scenarios that can be programmed via
APP. The Switch is ideal for managing lighting quickly, especially in small installations. The device works
connected to the Wi-Fi router and transmits commands to the gateways, which communicate with the
associated Twil devices.
It is a signal converter for commercial push-buttons that is installed inside the 503 box. Thanks to the
smart converter, it is possible to manage scenarios, which can be programmed via APP, without having to
change the aesthetics of the existing buttons.
