We inhale the atmosphere of old traditional homes with their faded plaster and old floors polished over time while we take in this new collection of handles named Florenzia.
We like to imagine the designer, the author of this particular silhouette, sitting in the shade of a walnut tree on an old Tuscan farmhouse on a hot summer’s day while he makes wide movements with his hand, using a pencil to trace the forms of this new collection of handles in an old notebook with ivory-coloured pages.
Moreover, we then imagine him looking down from a pigeon-house tower and glimpsing Val di Pesa with its never-ending vineyards, where one of the most famous wines in the world is produced: Chianti, a red wine that already in 1860 stood up to the famous superior red wines of Italy and France.
It is with this pleasant country-style image, that we admire the new Florenzia handle, characterised by an “hour-glass” shaped handle softened by two rings positioned near the stem and a small knob at the end giving it a pleasant taste of yesteryear. The finish in aged brass further enhances the forms, giving them an even more solid aspect, while the rose with concentric rings completes this brass handle of undeniable charm.
The Florenzia collection is available in the following finishes:
- Aged brass
- Aged iron
- Patiné mat
- Vibrato brass
The Florenzia product line is composed of the following models:
- Handle with or without rose
- Handle with plate
- Handle for DK window
- Cremone bolt
- Large handle
