Just a stone’s throw away from the resting
place of the exalted Ming dynasty, and a mere
hour’s drive from the Forbidden City, stands the
Reignwood Pine Valley Golf Club – a unique
club which features Libor Sošťák’s installation
Dougong. The ‘dougong’ is perhaps the most
iconic feature of ancient Chinese architecture,
and Sošťák transposed it into the wondrous
decor of the resort’s chic lobby which pays
homage to the traditional ancestral style.
