Vladimir Nabokov once said, “A writer should
have the precision of a poet and the imagination
of a scientist.” His life-long passion
for butterfl ies is commemorated by a swarm
of these beautiful creatures in a private
residence which carries his name. Designer
Michaela Mertlová created glass butterfl ies
with special, coloured textures to make each
piece unique, and placed them in the lobby area
to guide the residents from entrance to elevator.
