LASVIT
LASVIT is a Czech-based designer and manufacturer of bespoke
lighting and glass installations and objects. Since its foundation
in 2007, our mission has been to inspire the world with the beauty
of Bohemian glass. LASVIT glass installations decorate more than
2000 hotels, private residences, commercial buildings and others
all over the world. Our creative style is set by designer Maxim
Velčovský. Our design approach won LASVIT the Milano Design
Award, known as the "design Oscar," at Salone del Mobile 2018.

Heritage matters
Glassmaking has been in the Northern Bohemia for six hundred years.
The tradition of this craft has been handed down through the generations.
These centuries of practice have taught us how to refine rough mass into
a material brighter than diamond that can light up any space.
Tradition is a leader not a dogma
We have great respect for this tradition, but never let it bind us. Experience
and know-how gave us the freedom to experiment on the cutting edge,
play with designs and propose innovations.
The magic of glass
All the special techniques, tricks and practices are handed down from the masters,
together with the local identity. To get the magic just right, you need to grow up
with it and practice your entire life. In the end, you become the magic itself.

Beyond Glassmaking
With craftmanship and know-how as our tiller, we have
the power to set course for innovation and explore possibilities
beyond hand- blown glass. Colours aren’t a limit for us, nor are
the patterns. Bubbles, prints, engraving or metal coating ….
we are obsessed with glass and new ideas are just challenges
to overcome.
Dynamic Lighting
We have developed innovations that do almost magical effects
with light. Our innovative designs can let the light dance
to the sound of music or play in a myriad shades and colors.
Interactive Installations
Glass may have a power to shape light, but we provide our clients
the power to shape lighting. We say that design is a game and
our lightings are means to enjoy it. Side to side or upside down.
We present designs which can be controlled through an app
on mobile devices.
