Il segno distintivo della collezione di tavoli e tavolini Cor-
rer Slim è la forma ovaloide delle gambe che, con dimen-
sioni generose ma eleganti, ricordano il colonnato di Piaz-
za San Marco a Venezia. Dall’idea di contrapporre alla
forza di questo elemento un piano molto sottile, nascono
degli oggetti assolutamente contemporanei, in bilico tra
linee verticali e orizzontali. Il prezioso dettaglio della lavo-
razione delle gambe, che accolgono differenti tipi di piani,
genera un interessante dialogo tra i materiali.
The hallmark of the Correr Slim collection of tables and
coffee tables is the oval leg design. Generously sized yet
elegant in their form, the legs recall the arched arcades
lining Piazza San Marco in Venice. These ultra-contem-
porary pieces were born from the idea of contrasting a
strong, structural element with a wafer-thin top, creating
a design poised between vertical and horizontal lines.
The workmanship of the legs, designed to accommoda-
te varying types of top, creates an interesting dialogue
between the different materials used.
