Nata dal richiamo alle passerelle disposte tra le calli ve-
neziane in occasione dei picchi di marea, la Sedia Aqual-
ta rappresenta una forma che è impressa nell’archetipo
della sedia per tutti noi, un equilibrio tra segno puro e
dettagli. La seduta monomaterica e dalle linee semplici
stupisce per il suo peso leggero, qualità che si contrap-
pone alle sue proporzioni generose, date da un’imbotti-
tura estremamente confortevole. Un oggetto essenziale,
volutamente anche giocoso, che dialoga con gli stilemi del
mondo LAGO.
Evoking the raised walkways erected among the stre-
ets of Venice when high tides strike, the Aqualta Chair
reflects the archetypal form of a chair: the perfect balan-
ce between a simple shape and detail. No-nonsense lines
and the use of a single material astound in the resulting
lightweight design, which stands in contrast to the chair’s
generous proportions and ultra-comfy upholstery. Delibe-
rately playful, this minimalist piece fits in superbly with
LAGO’s stylistic canons.
