Nella propria persona, certo, ma anche
nell’ambiente che in cui viviamo. Ogni casa
parla di chi la abita.
L’arredamento del mio appartamento a Sidney
è fantastico. Ricordo ancora la faccia delle
mie amiche quando ci hanno messo piede per
la prima volta: erano estasiate.
“Wow, Mary! È fantastico, davvero.”
Era stata Jennifer a dirlo. E lei, ve lo assicuro, è
una che nota ogni minima imperfezione.
Fa la stilista, esattamente come me. Ma
lavoriamo per case di moda diverse.
Oggi indosso un vestitino in pizzo bianco e
dei tacchi rossi. Alti, ma non troppo. Unico
accessorio,
un
sottilissimo
braccialetto
d’argento al polso sinistro. Semplice, essenziale,
elegante. Come dovrebbe essere un uomo.
Per questo non l’ho ancora trovato.

on my left wrist. Simple, basic and elegant. Like
a man should be. For this reason, I have not yet
found one.
