This dining table was inspired by the New Nordic Movement
that is bound by a set of principles that stress sustainability,
locality and respect for the natural world. Lagom was created
from two pure shapes that met in perfect balance. The circular
top is enriched by the materiality of the grain that is flowing
on the surface. The base is a rhythmic sequence of vertical
solids and voids, that express a feeling of lightness. This table
also conceals extensive technical skill, essential for when the
simple, stringent structure has to function in practice. Because
it is made of strong and resistant sustainable plywood it was
designed to have a long-lasting life.
