The AVASTONE porcelain stoneware surfaces do not require any special conditions for their
care and maintenance. Thanks to their surface compactness and lack of porosity, they are
resistant to chemical products and ideal for everyday use in both residential and commercial
environments.
The following tips are for informational purposes only. AVASTONE provides long-lasting,
high-quality ceramic materials. For instructions on cleaning, maintenance, and care, please
refer to FILA (also for any special treatments), which will supply all the technical products and
information needed for the product’s long-term care.
1. Ordinary Cleaning and Maintenance
For daily cleaning of porcelain stoneware surfaces, it is recommended to use specific
low-residue detergents for ceramics, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Remember that the formation of films and smears on all types of surfaces is due to the
failure to remove ordinary dirt. Dirt must always be removed, not spread around.
Spray the FILA CLEAN & SHINE cleaner or an equivalent product onto the surface,
holding the bottle vertically about 20-30 cm from the application point. Clean the area
with a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge, frequently rinsing it to keep it clean.
2. Cleaning of Stubborn Stains
For more stubborn residues or older accidental stains, repeat the application following
the same procedure and allow the product to act for a longer period (a few minutes). Do
not use on polished marbles or any materials vulnerable to attack by acids. Perform a
preliminary test on a small portion of the surface to check that the material is resistant
to the product.
Regardless of the surface, items with very light or intense black tones tend to be more
sensitive to certain stains, so to achieve thorough cleaning, more timely and careful
maintenance is required.
3. types of tools suitable for the different types of ceramic surfaces
- for SMOOTH surfaces (normal, satin, polished or sanded), WET CLOTH and/or WET
ANTI-SCRATCH SCOTCH-BRITE (WHITE colours - preferably LIGHT BLUE);
- for STRUCTURED surfaces, WET NON-ABRASIVE SPONGE and/or FINE BRISTLE BRUSH
IN SORGHUM OR PLASTIC;
The CLOTH and the SPONGE are more suited for finer, more liquid types of dirt, the
SCOTCH-BRITE ANTI-SCRATCH and the BRUSH for coarser, more material dirt.
4. Extraordinary Maintenance
In case of stains caused by accidental events that may occur during the life of the
porcelain stoneware surfaces, the issue can be resolved using a specific ceramic
cleaner, such as FILA CLEANER PRO diluted 1:200 (25 ml in 5 liters of water). Follow
these steps:
1.
Dust the surface.
2.
Dilute the cleaner and apply it evenly.
3.
Clean the area with a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge, rinsing thoroughly.
In most cases, with the right cleaning product, the problem can be solved easily and
without damage.

Additional Tips
High-concentration cleaning products may damage the surface, especially if it has a
glossy finish, so avoid prolonged contact with the work surface.
For acid washing of polished surfaces, a buffered acid diluted in water should be used (we
recommend reducing the acid concentration indicated by the manufacturer by half). It
is also important to minimize the contact time between the treated surface and the acid
by thoroughly rinsing with water after cleaning. Additionally, when cleaning all polished
surfaces, non-abrasive equipment should be used to prevent scratching, streaking, and
dulling.
Precautions for use:
•
Avoid even minor knocks, particularly against edges and corners.
•
Avoid heavy loads on small areas, we advise against standing on the workbench
and concentrating all your weight on a small area.
•
Do not use abrasive objects or cleaning agents on the work surface.
•
We do not recommend using ceramic or steel knives directly on work surfaces,
especially if these are shiny. We recommend using chopping-boards.
•
We recommend the use of a guard under pots and pans before placing them on
the worktop, the same goes for similar objects such as coffee pots or kettles.

Les surfaces en grès cérame AVASTONE ne nécessitent pas de conditions particulières pour
leur entretien et leur maintenance. Grâce à leur compacité superficielle sans porosité, elles
sont résistantes aux produits chimiques et idéales pour une utilisation quotidienne dans des
environnements résidentiels et commerciaux.

Le superfici in gres porcellanato AVASTONE non richiedono condizioni particolari per
la loro cura e manutenzione. Grazie alla loro compattezza superficiale priva di porosità,
sono resistenti ai prodotti chimici e ideali per l’uso quotidiano in ambienti sia residenzia-
li che commerciali.
I consigli che seguono hanno solo carattere indicativo e informativo. AVASTONE fornisce
materiali di eccellenza ceramica, duraturi nel tempo, resistenti e demanda le indicazioni
per la loro pulizia, manutenzione e conseguente conservazione a FILA (anche per gli
eventuali interventi straordinari), nell’ottica della scelta di un partner tecnico tutelante
nella lunga fase di utilizzo del bene prodotto.
1. Pulizia e manutenzione Ordinaria
Per la pulizia quotidiana delle superfici in gres, è consigliato l'utilizzo di detergenti a
basso residuo specifici per la ceramica, attenendosi ai consigli del produttore.
Si ricorda che il problema della formazione di patine e aloni su tutti i tipi disuperfici è
dovuto alla mancanza di rimozione dello sporco ordinario, lo sporco va sempre rimosso,
non spalmato.
Spruzza il detergente FILA CLEAN & SHINE o un prodotto equivalente sulla superficie,
tenendo il flacone in posizione verticale a circa 20-30 cm dal punto di applicazione.
Pulisci l’area con un panno morbido o una spugna non abrasiva, risciacquandola
frequentemente per mantenerla pulita.
2. Pulizia di Macchie Ostinate
Per resudui più tenaci o macchie accidentali datate, ripetere l’applicazione seguendo le
stesse modalità e lasciando agire più a lungo il prodotto (qualche minuto). Non usare su
marmi lucidi e su tutti i materiali sensibili agli acidi. Accertarsi con un test preliminare su
una piccola porzione di superficie, dell’effettiva resistenza del materiale al prodotto.
A prescindere dalla superficie, gli articoli con tonalità molto chiare o nere intense,
risultano essere più sensibili ad alcune macchie, quindi per ottenere una pulizia completa
occorre una manutenzione più tempestiva e accurata.
3. Tipi di strumenti adatti alle diverse tipologie di superfici ceramiche
- per superfici LISCE (normali, satinate, lucide o levigate): PANNO UMIDO e/o SCOTCH-
BRITE ANTIGRAFFIO UMIDO (colori BIANCO – meglio o AZZURRO);
- per superfici STRUTTURATE: SPUGNA NON ABRASIVA UMIDA e/o SPAZZOLA A SETOLE
FINI IN SAGGINA O PLASTICA;
Il PANNO e la SPUGNA sono più indicati per sporchi più fini, più liquidi, lo SCOTCH-BRITE
ANTIGRAFFIO e la SPAZZOLA per sporchi più grossolani, più materici.
4. Manutenzione Straordinaria
In caso di macchie causate da eventi accidentali, che possono verificarsi durante la vita
delle superfici in gres, è possibile risolvere il problema utilizzando un detergente spe-
cifico per la ceramica, come FILA CLEANER PRO diluito 1:200 (25 ml in 5 litri d'acqua).
Segui questi passaggi:
1.
Spolvera la superficie.
2.
Diluisci il detergente e applicarlo uniformemente.
3.
Pulisci l’area con un panno morbido o una spugna non abrasiva, risciacquando
abbondantemente.
Nella maggior parte dei casi, con il giusto prodotto di pulizia, il problema può essere
risolto senza danni e con facilità.

Consigli aggiuntivi
I prodotti per la pulizia ad alta concentrazione potrebbero danneggiare la superficie,
soprattutto se si tratta di finitura lucida, pertanto evitare tempi lunghi di contatto con il
piano di lavoro.
Per un lavaggio acido delle superfici lucide, occorre usare un acido tamponato diluito
in acqua (consigliamo di dimezzare la concentrazione acida indicata dal produttore).
Ricordiamo anche che è molto importante ridurre la fase di contatto tra la superficie
trattata e l’acido, provvedendo ad un abbondante risciacquo con acqua, a pulizia
conclusa. Inoltre, durante le operazioni di pulizia di tutte le superfici lucide, devono
essere utilizzate attrezzature non abrasive per evitare graffi, alonature e opacizzazioni.
Precauzioni per l’uso:
•
Evitare urti di modesta forza, in particolare su bordi e spigoli.
•
Evitare carichi pesanti su piccole aree, sconsigliamo infatti di salire in piedi sul
banco di lavoro concentrando così tutto il peso della persona su una superficie
piccola.
•
Non usare oggetti o detergenti abrasivi sulla superficie di lavoro.
•
Si sconsiglia l’uso di coltelli di ceramica o di acciaio direttamente sul piano di
lavoro, in particolare se si tratta di una superficie lucida, è infatti raccomandato
l’uso di taglieri.
•
Si consiglia l’uso di una protezione tra le pentole e il piano di lavoro, e in generale di
qualsiasi oggetto similare come caffettiere o bollitori.

1. Regelmäßige Reinigung und Pflege
Für die tägliche Reinigung wird die Verwendung spezieller Reinigungsmittel für rücks-
tandsarme Keramik entsprechend den Empfehlungen des Herstellers empfohlen. Es wird
daran erinnert, dass das Problem der Bildung von Belägen und Rändern auf allen Arten
von Oberflächen auf die mangelnde Entfernung von normalem Schmutz zurückzuführen
ist. Schmutz muss immer entfernt und nicht verteilt werden.
Sprühen Sie den Reiniger FILA CLEAN & SHINE oder ein gleichwertiges Produkt auf die
Oberfläche, indem Sie die Flasche in aufrechter Position und in einem Abstand von ca.
20-30 cm zur Anwendungsstelle halten. Reinigen Sie die Fläche mit einem weichen Tuch
oder einem nicht scheuernden Schwamm und spülen Sie diesen regelmäßig aus, um ihn
sauber zu halten.
2. Reinigung hartnäckiger Flecken
Für besonders hartnäckige Rückstände oder ältere Flecken die Anwendung wiederho-
len, dabei die gleiche Vorgehensweise befolgen und das Produkt länger einwirken
lassen (einige Minuten). Nicht auf poliertem Marmor oder anderen säureempfindlichen
Materialien verwenden. Führen Sie vorab einen Test an einer kleinen Fläche durch, um
die Beständigkeit des Materials gegenüber dem Produkt zu überprüfen.
Unabhängig von der Art der Oberfläche sind Artikel mit sehr hellen oder intensiven
Schwarztönen anfälliger für bestimmte Flecken, so dass für eine gründliche Reinigung
eine rechtzeitige und gründliche Pflege erforderlich ist.
3. Arten von Werkzeugen für verschiedene Arten von Keramikoberflächen
- für GLATTE Oberflächen (normale, seidenmatte, glänzende oder geschliffene),
FEUCHTES TUCH und / oder FEUCHTER SCOTCH-BRITE ANTISCRATCH (Farben WEISS -
besser - oder HELLBLAU);
- für STRUKTURIERTE Oberflächen, FEUCHTER, NICHT SCHEUERNDER SCHWAMM und/
oder BÜRSTE MIT FEINEN BORSTEN AUS SORGHUM ODER KUNSTSTOFF;
Das TUCH und der SCHWAMM eignen sich besser für feineren, flüssigeren Schmutz,
der SCOTCH-BRITE ANTI-SCRATCH und die BÜRSTE für gröberen Schmutz.
4. Außergewöhnliche Wartung
Im Falle von Flecken, die durch unvorhergesehene Ereignisse entstehen und während
der Lebensdauer der Feinsteinzeug-Oberflächen auftreten können, kann das Problem
mit einem speziellen Keramikreiniger wie FILA CLEANER PRO (verdünnt 1:200, also 25
ml in 5 Litern Wasser) gelöst werden. Befolge diese Schritte:
1.
Staube die Oberfläche ab.
2.
Verdünne den Reiniger und trage ihn gleichmäßig auf.
3.
Reinige die Fläche mit einem weichen Tuch oder einem nicht scheuernden
Schwamm und spüle gründlich ab.
In den meisten Fällen kann das Problem mit dem richtigen Reinigungsprodukt problem-
los und ohne Schäden gelöst werden.

Zusätzliche Hinweise
Reinigungsprodukte mit hoher Konzentration können die Oberfläche beschädigen,
insbesondere bei glänzenden Oberflächen. Daher sollte ein längerer Kontakt mit der
Arbeitsfläche vermieden werden.
Soll ein saurer Reiniger für polierte Oberflächen verwendet werden, ist eine in Wasser
verdünnte gepufferte Säure zu wählen (wir empfehlen, die vom Hersteller angegebene
Säurekonzentration zu halbieren). Denken Sie auch daran, dass es sehr wichtig ist, die
Kontaktphase zwischen der behandelten Oberfläche und der Säure zu reduzieren und
nach der Reinigung gründlich mit Wasser zu spülen. Bei der Reinigung aller glänzenden
Oberflächen dürfen nur nicht scheuernde Utensilien verwendet werden, um Kratzer,
Ränder und Vertrübungen zu vermeiden.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen für die Nutzung:
•
Vermeiden Sie es, irgendwo, auch nur leicht, anzustoßen, insbesondere an Kanten
und Ecken.
•
Vermeiden Sie schwere Lasten auf kleinen Flächen. Wir raten davon ab, sich auf die
Arbeitsfläche zu stellen und damit das gesamte Gewicht der Person auf eine kleine
Fläche zu konzentrieren.
•
Verwenden Sie keine scheuernden Gegenstände oder Reinigungsmittel auf der
Arbeitsfläche.
•
Die Verwendung von Keramik- oder Stahlmessern direkt auf der Arbeitsplatte wird
nicht empfohlen, insbesondere, wenn es sich um eine polierte Oberfläche handelt.
Hier sollte ein Schneidebrett zum Einsatz kommen.
•
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung eines Untersetzers zum Schutz zwischen den
Töpfen und der Arbeitsplatte und generell bei ähnlichen Gegenständen wie
Kaffeekannen oder Wasserkochern.

1. Nettoyage et Entretien Ordinaire
Pour le nettoyage quotidien des surfaces en grès, il est recommandé d'utiliser de
détergents spécifiques pour la céramique à faible résidu, en s’en tenant au conseil du
fabricant. On rappelle que le problème de la patine et des halos qui se forment sur tous
les types de surfaces est dû au défaut d’élimination de la saleté ordinaire ; il fau toujours
éliminer la saleté sans l’étaler.
Vaporisez le nettoyant FILA CLEAN & SHINE ou un produit équivalent sur la surface, en
maintenant le flacon en position verticale à environ 20-30 cm du point d'application.
Nettoyez la zone avec un chiffon doux ou une éponge non abrasive, en la rinçant fréq-
uemment pour la maintenir propre.
2. Nettoyage des Taches Tenaces
Pour les résidus plus tenaces ou les taches anciennes, répétez l'application de la même
manière en laissant le produit agir plus longtemps. Ne pas utiliser sur des marbres polis
ni sur des matériaux sensibles aux acides. Faites un test préalable sur une petite portion
de surface pour vérifier la résistance du matériau au produit.
Indépendamment de la finition de surface, les articles de tonalités très claires ou de
noir intense sont plus sensibles à certaines taches et, par conséquent, nécessitent un
entretien plus rapide et méticuleux pour être correctement nettoyés.
3. Types d’instruments adaptés aux différents types de surfaces céramiques
- pour les surfaces LISSES (normales, satinées, brillantes ou polies), CHIFFON HUMIDE
et/ou SCOTCH-BRITE ANTI-RAYURES HUMIDE (couleurs BLANC - mieux - ou BLEU) ;
- pour les surfaces STRUCTURÉES, ÉPONGE NON ABRASIVE HUMIDE et/ou BROSSE À
SOIES FINES EN GENÊT OU EN PLASTIQUE ;
Le CHIFFON et l’ÉPONGE conviennent aux saletés plus fines et plus liquides, le SCOTCH
BRITE ANTI–RAYURES et la BROSSE à la saleté plus grossière et plus texturée
4. Entretien Extraordinaire
En cas de taches causées par des événements accidentels, qui peuvent survenir au
cours de la vie des surfaces en grès, il est possible de résoudre le problème en utilisant
un nettoyant spécifique pour la céramique, comme le FILA CLEANER PRO dilué à 1:200
(25 ml pour 5 litres d'eau). Suivez ces étapes :
1.
Poussiérer la surface.
2.
Diluer le nettoyant et l'appliquer uniformément.
3.
Nettoyer la zone avec un chiffon doux ou une éponge non abrasive, en rinçant
abondamment.
Dans la plupart des cas, avec le bon produit de nettoyage, le problème peut être résolu
sans dommages et facilement.

Conseils supplémentaires
Les produits de nettoyage à haute concentration peuvent endommager la surface, surtout
s'il s'agit d'une finition brillante. Il est donc recommandé d'éviter tout contact prolongé
avec le plan de travail. Pour un nettoyage acide des surfaces polies, utilisez un acide
tamponné dilué dans l'eau (nous recommandons de réduire de moitié la concentration
acide préconisée par le fabricant). Il est important de limiter la phase de contact entre la
surface traitée et l'acide, en rinçant abondamment à l'eau après le nettoyage. De plus, lors
du nettoyage de toutes les surfaces polies, il est essentiel d'utiliser un équipement non
abrasif pour éviter les rayures, les auréoles et les parties opacifiées.
Précautions d’emploi:
•
Éviter les chocs, même modestes, et notamment sur bords et arêtes.
•
Éviter les charges lourdes sur de petites zones. En effet, il est déconseillé de se
mettre debout sur le plan de travail pour ne pas concentrer tout le poids d’une
personne sur une petite surface.
•
Ne pas utiliser d’objets et de détergents abrasifs sur la surface de travail.
•
Il est déconseillé d’utiliser des couteaux en céramique ou acier directement sur le
plan de travail, et notamment en cas de finition polie. Nous encourageons, en effet,
l’emploi de planches à découper.
•
Il est recommandé d’utiliser une protection entre les casseroles et le plan de travail,
et en général avec tous les objets du même genre comme cafetières ou bouilloires.
