POWER SUPPLY UNITS AND CONTROL GEAR
To understand which type of power supply unit to use, you need to check the electrical specifications of the lighting fixture.
HOW TO SELECT A POWER SUPPLY UNIT
Constant current (possible values: 220mA, 350mA, 500mA, 700mA, 1050mA)
The connection between the lighting fixtures is in series: choose a power supply unit with constant current output that provides an adequate operating
power range according to the total power to be installed (see page 906).
Example: Bright 1.0
reference values: max 2W, max 500mA
Constant voltage (possible values: 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc)
The connection between lighting fixtures is in parallel: choose a power supply unit with constant voltage output that provides an adequate operating power range
according to the total power to be installed, considering an operating margin of 5–10% (see page 908).
Example: Ginko 2.4
reference values: 7W, 24Vdc
Power supply for LEDs with output in constant current max 500mA.
