Over these last few years, the outdoor world has taken on even greater importance. We spend more and more
time outside, whether we are going out for a walk or a cultural event, or to unwind at a restaurant or at home. And
lighting becomes the means of narrating the nocturnal story of the city, its buildings and its natural landscapes,
as well as of our private spaces, whether they be gardens, porches or verandas, or perhaps a terrace by the sea.
From the illumination of the tiniest detail – a tuft of grass – to the enhancement of an imposing building facade, this
section covers the new additions to our outdoor lighting collection. It is a collection that fulfils all kinds of lighting
requirements with its wide variety of optics and technical solutions; that, because of our listening skills, is evol-
ving to encompass the lighting needs of architects, lighting designers and landscape designers; and, lastly, that
is designed for responsible use in natural environments. A warm, 2200K LED colour temperature, and the ability
to control the light intensity and program lighting scenes are just some of the technical solutions available to limit
light pollution and protect the natural circadian rhythms of both plants and animals. The asymmetrical, wall washer
and adjustable optics, together with the anti-glare accessories of snoots and shields, allow the light to be directed
only where it is needed, to preserve the general darkness of the night.
In questi ultimi anni il mondo outdoor ha assunto una maggiore importanza. Passiamo sempre più tempo fuori, che sia per
una passeggiata, un evento, un momento di relax al ristorante o a casa. E la luce si fa strumento di narrazione notturna della
città, dei suoi palazzi, e dei suoi paesaggi naturali come dei nostri spazi privati, siano essi giardini, portici, terrazze, magari
un dehors vicino al mare.
Dall’illuminazione del dettaglio più piccolo – un ciuffo d’erba – all’esaltazione di un’imponente facciata di un palazzo, questa
sezione raccoglie le novità della nostra collezione di apparecchi illuminanti da esterno. Una collezione che fa dell’ampia va-
rietà di ottiche e soluzioni tecniche la risposta alle più diverse esigenze illuminotecniche; una collezione che, dall’ascolto, è
in grado di evolversi per comprendere i bisogni di architetti, lighting designer e landscape designer; e, infine, una collezione
pensata per un utilizzo responsabile nei confronti dell’ambiente naturale. La temperatura di colore del LED calda, 2200K,
il controllo dell’intensità luminosa e la programmazione di scenari di accensione e spegnimento sono solo alcuni degli ac-
corgimenti tecnici proposti per limitare l’inquinamento luminoso e rispettare l’equilibrio naturale della flora e della fauna. Le
ottiche asimmetriche, wall washer e orientabili, come anche con gli accessori antiabbagliamento, cannocchiali e frangiluce,
consentono di direzionare la luce solo dove serve per preservare il buio notturno.
