Apprezzato fin dall’antichità per le sue caratteristiche estetiche e la sua durabilità, il
marmo è il materiale che racconta lo sviluppo artistico e architettonico dell’umanità.
Ha dato un volto all’estetica greca e alla potenza di Roma, ai fasti della Mesopotamia
e allo splendore del Rinascimento. È l’elemento protagonista di alcuni tra gli edifici
