A NEW ECO FRIENDLY RECYCLED MATERIAL
Kartell is using recycled PMMA in its transparent productions for the first time.
Teatime is the first product made from this material, which originates largely from the
depolymerisation of plastic waste from various sources. This material retains aesthetic
quality and structural requirements comparable to pure new material; this project makes
it possible to give industrial plastic waste a new lease of life and turn it into new products
that will stand the test of time and become design icons.
