Matteo Ugolini keeps his research in the field of textiles: their processing and treatment, which had started 2013 with model Life and uses for Atelier a fabric ecru painted. A textile taken back to its original rough and tactile nature conveying the idea of a handmade tailoring making every lamp a unique piece, like a a dress of haute couture. Its rounded shapes and sinuous remind of a female body and its metal structure which is thin and at once resistant hides a strong and bright soul.
Available both as floor lamp as suspension Atelier defines the space around thanks to light and shade thanks to fabric’s processing. A lampshade in modern shapes taking us back in time and creating atmospheres typical of old artisan workshops.
