Dal tronco al pavimento.
È questa la strada che porta
alla mia costruzione.
Una strada che inizia nella
foresta, dove i tronchi più
adatti vengono selezionati
grazie alla lunga esperienza
maturata in anni di conoscenza
della materia prima, che
viene trasportata direttamente
nel sito produttivo.
Il ritmo seguito è quello
del ciclo naturale dell’albero:
dopo il taglio in foresta da
dicembre a marzo, il tronco
viene lavorato, stagionato
e successivamente fatto
entrare in produzione.
Con una media di un anno
e mezzo di tempo fra la scelta
del tronco e la vendita del
pavimento finito. Per queste
ragioni l’azienda negli anni
ha costruito un magazzino di
notevole entità, che costituisce
una sorta di “banca del legno”
dalla quale attingere di volta
in volta a seconda delle
necessità. In più di 100.000
metri quadrati di spazi produttivi
dislocati in più immobili
trovano posto il deposito
della materia prima, la segheria,
il magazzino, la produzione
e la spedizione.

From tree trunk to flooring;
this is the path that leads to
my construction. It starts in
the forest, where the most
suitable trunks are selected
according to experience
gained over years of working
with this raw material, which
is transported directly to
the production site.
The tree’s natural cycle
dictates the flow:
after felling in the forest
between December and
March, the timber is cut,
seasoned and then placed
in production. On average
one and a half years go by
from selection of the trunk
to the sale of finished
flooring. That’s why the
company has gradually built
up large stores, a sort of
‘timber bank’ from which to
take material as and when
necessary. Production space
of more than 100,000
thousand square metres is
distributed over a number
of facilities which include
raw materials storage,
a sawmill, stores, production
and dispatch.
